We are happy to announce that bro. Carey Scott has come to work with the church here at Eastside. Carey has previously preached in Houston, Tx and Madisonville, Tx as well as fill in at many places.
Carey is married to Candy, and they have two children and six grandchildren. Carey and Candy live here in Ranger with their dog, Gizmo.
Carey retired from the trucking industry in Houston after thirty years. His goal was to retire and begin working with a congregation as a preacher.

Carey has the goal of growing the church here at Eastside. This is to be accomplished by helping the current members become stronger spiritually, and by inviting people to come and study God's word.

Where We Meet:
We meet at the corner of Young and Strawn in Ranger, TX. If you're coming from out of town, the easiest way to find us is to take exit 349 on I-20, and take the loop into Ranger. Turn right on Hunt (the second road past the stop light) - there'll be one of our signs there. Follow the road (there'll be a bit of a curve in it), and you'll see the white building with another one of our signs.

Who Are We?
We cordially invite you to come and join us in Bible study and worship of our Lord, Jesus Christ. In our assemblies you will find congregational singing (Eph. 5:19), praying (I Thess. 5:17), the Lord's Supper (Luke 22:19-20), and gospel preaching (II Cor 4:5). You will not be asked to contribute financially or embarrassed, but will be our honored guest.
The church has no head except Christ (Eph. 5:23), we wear no name but His (I Cor. 1:12-13), and we have no creed except the Bible (II Tim. 3:16-17). We believe that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation (Rom. 1:16), and that by God's grace and mercy (Titus 2:11) we are promised eternal life with Him if we respond in faith (Eph. 2:8) and obedience (Heb. 5:9).
